At Commissioned Generation (CIC), we aim to be a supportive force in the community, offering young people a sense of security, belonging, and opportunity. By fostering interpersonal connections, providing skill-building programs, and creating a supportive network, we strive to empower young individuals to become agents of positive change.
What do we do?
Our programs provide training in diverse skill sets while offering a supportive environment for personal and professional growth. Beyond skill development, we actively encourage young people to give back to their local communities through structured service initiatives throughout the year.

Through these efforts, we aim to instill a sense of social responsibility, cultivate strong character, and strengthen community ties. We believe that when young people engage in meaningful service, they develop a deeper sense of purpose and fulfillment. Research has also shown that contributing to one's community can reduce stress, boost self-esteem, and foster a sense of achievement.

We recognise that mental health is a significant concern for many young people. The challenges they face require flexible, personalized support. That’s why we offer medium- to long-term interventions aimed at creating safe spaces for young people to explore their emotions and develop resilience. Our support is designed to be adaptive, responding to the unique needs of each individual while promoting emotional well-being.
Our program is structured across three learning stages: foundation, transition, and commissioned. During these stages, young people engage in small group discussions, one-on-one mentorship, and peer support. This approach allows them to build their personal development and emotional resilience, leading to mental transformation.

Empowering young people as leaders is at the core of our mission. We provide structured opportunities for them to develop and apply leadership skills in real-world settings. Our initiatives are youth-led, meaning the young people themselves are at the heart of organizing and executing various community events.
For example, we plan to host various community events and start many initiatives for those in our local community. These initiatives will be organized and led by the young people, with support and guidance from our leadership team. Through this hands-on leadership experience, young people will gain practical skills while also having the space to grow in their passions and abilities.

Creative expression is another pillar of our work. We believe that art, music, storytelling, and digital media can be powerful tools for young people to communicate their experiences and influence decision-makers. We have a branch dedicated to youth with a passion for creativity, providing them with a space to connect and collaborate.
We also plan to establish a fund to support their creative initiatives, as financing can be a significant barrier for young people pursuing their passions. We believe this will help young people turn their creative dreams into reality.
